I agree with the last comment. I thought that mac nc45 studio finish pressed powder was the best I had ever used. It matched my skin perfectly. I too bought a few when I found out that they were going to be discontinued. I have tried the select sheer and it's awful, it's not even close to a substitute for the studio finish. It should be taken off of the market. I have not found a replacement from Mac, I have gone to more than one Mac store, and now none of there products work well with my skin tone like the studio finish pressed powder. I think the company should reconsider putting studio finish back on the market. I am almost out of my last compact too. I was once impressed with Mac, now i'm having to look at other alternatives for makeup.

Honestly, Im a make up freak and I've tried EVERYTHING!!! Chanel, Prescriptives, Shishedo, Bobbi Brown, Laura...I promise EVERYTHING. NOTHING compares to Studio Finish. Nothing. The Sheer Select is garbage and they make a huge mistake. When I found out they were discontinuing Studio Finish I snagged up as many as I could find before the department stores sent them out. However, now I can see the silver of my last compact and I'm freaking out. Ive resorted to not wearing make up to work so that I can at least be flawless on the weekends!!
