Hi Carole,
That sounds like a lot of fun! The best thing you can do is to ask the makeup artists at department makeup store counters- they should be able to help. I hope you guys have a great time!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI have friends coming to town next month and were interested in taking a class to learn how to apply and use makeup. Just a one or two day class. Can you send me some suggestions of where they can go in NYC?

If you're interested in training please contact MAC directly (see the body of this article). We wish you the best of luck!

We believe that your school does have to be approved, but the best thing you can do is visit macpro.com. This way you'll be able to ask the folks at MAC directily. Good luck!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajDoes your performing arts school need to be "approved" or part of a larger institution (like a university)? I am a student at a local performing arts school, but it's not affiliated with any major organization though it does have non-profit status, etc.

Simply visit www.macpro.com and their website will walk you through the application process.
Good luck!
