Hi Debbie,
I'm not sure who designed the package, but you are not the first visitor to comment here that it is really difficut. Why not try contacting the company and dropping them a note- maybe if they get enough, they'll think about redesigning it. In the meatime, thanks for taking the time to share with us here!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajWho designed this cute package? It is horrible. Difficult to put powder on brush. Tap off excess and is not as good as avon minerals looking to get. a refund on both powder And blush.
-- Contributed by: Debbie MoHi Shanice,
For free samples, it's best to contact the company directly (L'oreal.com). They may be able to help. Thank you for the post and good luck!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline Dautaji want some free sample of you make
-- Contributed by: shanice taylorHi Crish,
We can all understand exactly where you are coming from, but we don't send out anything on LTK. Why don't you contact the company? Maybe they can do something for you (or at least send you some samples). Thank you for the post!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajDo you have any samples or coupons I could get before I buy the mineral makep to see if I like it before I spend money ON IT? I would really appreciate it so much. I am on a fixed income and have to spend wisely. Thanks again!!!!
-- Contributed by: CrishHi Mrs. Iddon,
Thank you so much for sharing with us here!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline Dautajtried your mineral foundation make up and found it to be the best foundation i have ever tried. it covered up alot of imperfections on my face and gave me alot more confidence in myself. it is absolutely fantastic find and i wouldnt be without it now.

-- Contributed by: payel dasguptaI have never used mineral makeup. What are the steps? What do I use first, all the way to the last step. What product do I use first, and so on?
-- Contributed by: kiatonnia fugateHi aNa B.,
We're so glad this makeup helps you look great- fast! Everybody needs that! Thanks for contributing here!

-- Contributed by: aNa B.Hi Erika,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts here with us!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI love this make up it is so easy to use and has great coverage!!! It is so light you don't even know you are wearing makeup. I bought the foundation, concealer, finishing powder and the blush.... good product!!
-- Contributed by: Erika GordonHi Kimberly,
Thank you for sharing with us here! We appreciate it!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI just wanted to say I purchased bare naturale and I love it! You barely know I am wearing makeup and I still have wonderful coverage in my problem areas. I do notice one thing, and that is I got "cocoa" color to match my skin and I notice that was not one of the colors you mentioned it comes in. I use loreal a lot and cocoa is the only color that matches my skin perfectly. You have discontinued the cream to powder in cocoa so does that mean your going to do the same for bare naturale? I hope not because this color works best for me and I have tried many other colors and products but none can compare to loreal .
-- Contributed by: KimberlyHi Dawn,
The best thing you can do is to contact the company directly. This way, they'll be able to help you in a very specific manner. Thank you for the post and good luck!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajYeah...I'm with you Dee...I just don't get it!!! What holes, Jacqueline??? I've been dipping the brush into the powder directly, and I don't think that's what they intended use to do...but I could be wrong. I've searched all over the net to find some good directions, and I haven't found anything yet...PLEASE HELP!!!
-- Contributed by: DawnHi Dee,
We're considering that idea quite seriously. In the meantime, put the brush where all the holes are. Thank You!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI don't understand how you are to get the powder on the brush. You mentioned here to put the brush in the sifter, but I really don't get what you mean. Maybe you could put a video on here on how to use the product.
-- Contributed by: DeeHi Shirley,
Thanks for sharing that information with our visitors. I'm sure if anyone out there can help, they'll be in touch with you. Thanks again!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajHello, wALGREENS IS HAVING A DEMONSTRATION DAY ON MAY3. IS THERE ANY WAY YOU CAN SUPPLY EXTRA BRUSHES FOR THE DEMO? e MAIL ME FOR ANY FURTHER HELP YOU CAN GIVE. THANKS, SHIRLEY
-- Contributed by: shirley loveHi Charlene,
While we completely understand what you're saying, unfortunately, we don't offer samples. The best thing you can do is contact the company directly. I'm sure that if you explain to them how you feel they'll be willing to send you some samples. Thanks for the post and good luck!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajDo you's offer any coupons to try this bare natural mineral powder and how does a person find the right shade when there is no testers for this product?? as i would love to try but any of our drug store - pharmasave does not have any testers. so can i try this product to see if i like it when i cannot tell what color i would need
-- Contributed by: Charlene PellyHi Minty,
Thanks for sharing that with our visitors. It's really going to help them!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI use a MAC powder brush instead of the one provided. It holds more powder, creates a more even coverage and there is no mess from powder coming off the top since I'm not using the brush. I LOVE this line!
-- Contributed by: MintyHi Kelly,
We feel your pain! A lot of that has to do with the holes being so small. The best thing you can do is to contact the company, let them know your complaint and then see if they can do anything about it. Thanks for your question and good luck!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI'm having trouble getting enough foundation powder into the top, there isn't much to go onto the brush. Much more powder goes into the sink than into the top. Why????
-- Contributed by: kellyHi MK,
Unfortunately, I've never used this line of makeup, so I wouldn't be able to tell you. I will leave your comment up though, so that others can share their stories with you. Thanks for your post!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI am new to this line of mineral products, but it appears to me that it is accentuating my pores in ways that I have never seen before. Is it my application techiniques?
-- Contributed by: MKHi Sara,
Thanks for contributing that piece of information. It's going to help a lot of people how there to pick the right shade. Thanks again!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajWhile in fact there are no sites to help you pick the right shade, there are sites that will help you to understand the color ranges you should try. Look on seventeen.com you dont have to be 17 to get makeup help! For fair skinned redheads I think your shades are in the rosy pinks. But search around a bit, and experiment.
-- Contributed by: Sara MarshallHi Jennifer,
I hate to tell you this, but it looks as if you'll just have to go to the drugstore and take a look at what they have there. Apparently, there is no website devoted to finding the right color. Thanks for your comment; I hope it helps Loreal realize that creating a website to help folks find the right shade is necessary. Thanks again!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline Dautajhi i would love to start using this new mineral makeup but not for sure what color i need.I am a redhead with freckels and i was wondering if their is a site i couild go to that would help me pick the right shade.
-- Contributed by: jenniferHi Mary,
Thank you for letting our visitors know about your experience. It will help them when they're shopping! Thanks for contributing.
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajHello I recently purchased the new LOREAL mineral makeup and i love it. I was using the Bare Escentuals that I purchased from QVC or Sephora . I WAS VERY HAPPY with the way it looks and how well it compared .Much cheaper too at Walmart.
-- Contributed by: mary beardHi Fernanda, Please see our article Applying blush. It should be able to help you apply your blush properly. Thanks for your comment and good luck to you!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajHi everyone! Im brazilian and i bought this blush at USA.. but i dont know how to apply!! I this its very difficult to apply... or better... is not pratical! I think i dont know how to use... =/ Can you give me some tips of this product? PLEASE!!! I need HELP! Thanks!!
-- Contributed by: FernandaHi Glenda,
I'm glad you shared your comment. It's great to show our users all the different experiences folks have had-it helps them make a better decision about whether or not to purchase. Thank You!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajHi Lola,
Thanks so much for your comment! We're so glad it looked good on you, and thanks for sharing- it's going to help a lot of people out there!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline Dautaji switched from using bare minerals which caused my skin to itch to the loreal brand which causes no itching. I recommend always using a moisturizer first. I think the brushes that come with loreal's products are worthless and if you try a better brush i don't think you would have any problems. It looks natural, feels great. I do think my skin is a little greasier then after using the bare minerals but i still like this product better.
-- Contributed by: glendaI use the make-up and I love it!!! It looks natural and stays on all day. I was surprised how well it covers. You have to pick a lighter shade than you normally wear. The first one I got was too dark and looked weird.
-- Contributed by: LolaHi Katya,
Thanks for sharing your comment and letting our vistors know what your experience was with this product- it's going to help them make a more informed decision about buying. Thank You!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajAlthough I have tried to apply the Bare Naturale Foundation following all the suggested techniques, it just does not spread on the skin. It looks totally artificial, like a mask covering your face. I think it is not a good product and I would not recommend its use.
-- Contributed by: KatyaHi Lex,
Thanks so much for sharing with us and for helping our other views. Much appreciated!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI absolutely love the new mineral makeup line from loreal...The "new" Cocoa shade is the best!
-- Contributed by: LexHi Suzie Q,
Thanks so much for your comment- it's going to help a lot of people out there when they're thinking about purchasing this Loreal product!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline Dautajwell, that is unusual..it wont let me post the word p - r--- i ----ck ----l....y
-- Contributed by: Suzie Qthat last post i left should read "...ly"
-- Contributed by: Suzie QI forgot to mention 2 things: it would be a good idea to moisturize at night because the powder, while healing, still has a tendency to dry the skin a bit...not too much but still, the recommendation is there.
also, i notice that when wearing the loreal, if i sweat at all or get a bit warm, my face begins to feel "...ly". it is not painful but it is uncomfortable. This sensation is not accompanied by redness or anything worse, it just seems to be a very mild reaction of my ph and the make up or something. im not really worried but i thought id share.
-color matching is something that needs to be ironed out at first, i agree with the other people who commented about that. the product is afforable and blendable enough for it not to be a huge problem.
over all, the loreal product is great!
-- Contributed by: Suzie QI recently tried the loreal mineral make up and am very pleased. i have been using an expensive Aveda brand tinted moisturizer which i found to have some nice qualities but i was still have an insanely shiny skin problem, as my skin is oily to begin with. i have to say what a relief it was when i tried the loreal product! i feel confident and my boyfriend can touch my face without getting (or me getting worried about) greasy make up all over his hand. i still want to try the Sheer Cover brand type of mineral make up to compare, but im not sure if i would end up using it continously as it is about $400 per year...it would have to be really really above and beyond the superior results i achieve with the loreal to be worth its price!
-- Contributed by: Suzie QThanks
-- Contributed by: TinaHi Tami,
Thanks so much for your comments! I'm sure it's going to help a lot of women out there!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline Dautaji spent so much $$$ on bare escentuals and hated it! im only 28 and it sunk into every line, and caked up with my opily skin. going into the daylight was horrible looking. this weekend i bought bare naturale for quick cover ups, and put it on all over to test it. it never caked, sunk into no lines and made me look 17 again! it wasnt crazy shiny like BE either. I was so happy and now I feel confident enough to wear it every day now, and will never buy liquid foundation or bare escentuals again! this stuff is a god send, i swear and it only takes me 1 minute to apply! i get small under the skin pimples and this stuff is actually healing them as it covers them 100% and also it covers undereye darkness perfectly. its much cheaper than BE too. i would recommend this to every chick i know!
-- Contributed by: tamiHi Marie,
We are so happy that you look great with Loreal! Thanks for sharing with everyone; we're sure it going to help many people!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI had been using Bare Escentuals for about a year. I tried L'oreal's Bare Naturale last week and LOVE IT! It has great coverage for oily skin like mine and the price is much better than BE. The best part about it? The first day I wore the makeup, a friend commented that I looked amazing, my skin was glowing! (Thanks, L'oreal!)
-- Contributed by: MarieHi Sol,
Thanks for your comment and for helping others make the right makeup decision!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI really enjoy the Loreal Mineral makeup. It compares to Bare Escentuals's coverage yet is without BE's price and inconvenience. I really like this stuff. It lasts all day and the colors although hard to match, once you pull it together --- it goes a long, long way.
-- Contributed by: Sol PiebaldHi Mandy,
Thanks for your input. I'm sure it's going to help a lot of people be aware of what they could possibly expect from using this product. Thank You!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI loved using the Loreal brand, however I noticed that it's hard to match my skin tone between the two colors. It bothered me a little and it was a little noticeable. My only major complaint was the fact that they brush became uncomfortable on my face after about two weeks of using it. It's so uncomfortable I try to use my largest brush from Mary Kay only to be disappointed at the lack of ability for it to cover my face with makeup properly.
-- Contributed by: MandyI love this product! I just moved from san diego, ca to lake havasu, az. A moist climate to a dry. the weather has been reeking havoc on my skin. I've switched from my cream foundation to this and WOW! not only have I stoipped breaking out, but a little truly does go a long way. it looked so natural. I also use it as a concealer. I use a eyeshadow brush, the old swirl, tap, and buff into my undereyes and around my nose! I love it!!!
-- Contributed by: KoreThe packaging is simple enough and the ingredients very compicated, I was fairly happy with the product but It is not really woth it, try urbn decay's version- i is much nicer
-- Contributed by: NemobI have been using this product for about a week now and im in love. I have oily acne prone skin and i was amazed at the coverage. I am thrilled with my results!
-- Contributed by: NicholeI just tried this produect for the first time. I am usually not a huge fan of any power as I have very dry skin. I am amazed at the results just after the first light application. I have little spider viens on the side of my nose and even most concealers do not cover them up... this product gave great coverage effortlessly, and there are no dry looking areas either. I am very happy with the results.
