Hi Kris,

We're sorry to hear you're in a bit of a rut, but that happens to everyone. Have you tried using a primer lotion before putting your foundation on? That will help it to "lock" into place and stay fresh looking.

Also, explore Bobbi Brown's line of products- she has some terrific foundations that stay put, but look luminous. Thanks so much for the question and good luck!

Hi, I feel stuck in an 80's rutt! I have combo/oily skin so I always use matte foundation with powder. I have tried mineral makeup but it looks oily and slides off. i would live to know how to get a fresh natural look and what products to try next (I feel like I've tried them all!). Thanks

Hi Noreen,

Have you tried the department store makeup counters'? Try our article, Prescriptives Makeup. That particular brand makes it their business to produce flawless (exact skin matching) makeup. Perhaps you should try that and see if you like the results. Thanks for the question and good luck!

I've been using for years now Loreal Liquid Makeup N-4. It's the only makeup close enough to my skin color. The shade is nuetral 4, doesn't have too much red, brown or yellow. I'd like to move on to something more natural or organic, but in either brand, I can't seem to find the right color. Any advice? I hate to buy the wrong color. Noreen : )

Hi Nichole,

What a great idea! Notice how the model's skin look flawless, but not over done? That's exactly the look you'll want to have. Remember to always, blend, blend, blend. Thanks for your comment!
