Hi Sam,
You raise a great point, and I think and even though it's a little difficult to understand, I don't think the writer meant pull out the hair, but rather, to pull it in the direction of growth that you'd like it to grow in. After that's done, you can use a little eye brow gel to keep it in place.
If you decide to go ahead and pull the hair out completely, go very slow when doing that though because eye brows take forever to grow back.
If anything happens, make sure you have a good eye pencil on hand to correct any errors. If you have any other questions, please feel free to write us back!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajHi, I have some stubborn hairs that seem to always want to grow in the wrong direction. I came across this article and I was wondering if you could explain what you mean by "I pull hairs out that are facing the wrong direction into the direction that I want them to grow back and retrain them again."
How do you change their direction of growth to be the direction you want? Thanks!

Thank you for writing back and letting us know how it all worked out- we are so happy for you! If you ever have any more questions, please feel free to post it!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI had posted a comment on here a few weeks ago to get help with my eyebrows. I just wanted to let you know that I tried Revlon's Brow Fantasy and it worked great. I just wanted to say thanks and now I know where to go if I need anymore help. Thank you so much!

Don't worry; you can still make your brows look great. The first step is you'll need a good eyebrow pencil or eyebrow powder.
To apply, start the brow line at the part that is closest to your nose. You can tilt your head back slightly while looking in the mirror, and begin the line. This will help you draw the brows closer together until they grow back in. You'll have to experiment quite a bit until you get the hang of it, so buy more than one eyebrow pencil at a time. Thanks for the question and we wish you the best of luck!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajMy eyebrows are too far apart and they look so bad. Last time that I let them grow back it took forever and they looked horrible. I don't know what to do and I have everything else on my face finally looking good... except my eyebrows. Please help me because I have no clue what to do.
-- Contributed by: Young and I need help!!!Hi Taryn,
I understand your concern- shaving them off is scary! Here's what I'd like you to do. Start by tweezing them into a fine line. This way, you can see if it goes well with the overall look of your face, and if it doesn't, then you can use a sturdy pencil to fill them back in until they grow back. Go slow, tweeze a thin line, leave it for a week, see how it looks, and if it's all good, tweeze an even thinner line until you get the look you are after. Don't shave it off just yet. Thanks for the question and good luck!

-- Contributed by: tarynHi Lucy,
I know, eyebrow shaping can be tricky. As far as trimming goes, yes you should be doing this. The correct way to trim your eyebrows is to take a comb (or better yet, an eyelash comb) and comb all of your eyebrow hairs straight up. From there, take a small scissors and sip the hairs that are too long. That will make your eyebrows look neater and keep them all at one length.
As for growing hairs back in, all you can do is wait it out. Unfortunately, eyebrows can take a notoriously long time to grow back so have patience. In the meantime, fill in any sparse hairs with eye shadow or a pencil. Thanks for the question and good luck!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajMy eyebrows are naturally a good shape - just a little tweesing needed -but they seem to be very long. Does anyone trim the length of theirs?
Also I'm trying to grow back the middle tufty bits which the article says looks fine if are "shaped correctly". Any hints and tips how to do this? Does it mean trim the length (again muine are long!)or just choose the shape???
Anyone got a good book that DOESN'T recommend making your eyebrows look like a pencil line??!
Ta v much!

I hate to tell you this, but everyone agrees: it takes a very long time for eyebrows to grow back. Even so, take heart. Have you tried using a combination of eye shadow and brow liners? Eye shadows are best because they look more natural, but brow liners are quicker (especially if you are running out the door).
Also, think about taking some inspiration for your thinner brows from some beautiful celebrities, like Gwen Stefani. Her drawn on brow look is legendary and she's able to pull it off and look great, so try our article on her for some great tips. Thanks for the question and good luck to you!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI am 17 and my eyebrows have become very thin and I am trying get them thicker and to look natural again but it seems like its taking a LONG time and some parts are growing slow. How long does it take on average to grow them back?
