Hi Sonja,
That's interesting- I haven't heard of that yet, but your post will stay up here so that someone who has can tell you their experience. Thanks for the post!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI love the make-up and have used it for a few months now. However, both lids on my foundations have cracked so I cannot use them for travel since the contents will spill out. Anybody else have this issue?
-- Contributed by: SonjaHi Shamra,
Thanks so much for sharing that with us here- it was very helpful!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajFor Lenay, there is a real trick to using Demure. It's nothing like BE either. There aren't any fillers so because of that, you really have to manipulate the minerals in the lid and then turn the brush upside down and give a tap. That sends the minerals into the kabuki so when the minerals are applied, they go on smooth, not streaky. Bare Minerals won't do that because of the Bismuth and the cornstarch.
I have been using Demure for almost a year now and I have excema and rosecia. It helps the sensitive skin and completely covers the rosecia without looking fake. Also, the bismuth that so many mineral companies put in their formulas makes me itch and I'm pretty sure it's not safe.
Happy with Demure, really happy. Shamra
-- Contributed by: ShamraHi Lenay,
Thanks so much for sharing with us here. A lot of people are curious about mineral products, so I think your comment may help a few of them- thanks again!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI was really lookiing forward to purchasing a mineral product made in Clearwater. However, it has not stood up to the quality of Bare Escentuals. I used BE for a couple of years and tried Demure that I purchased in Florida. I really wanted to like it but just didn't. The product streaks so does the secondary foundation. It got cakey looking. I've had friends tell me to not wear it. I went back to BE. I appreciate the idea and culture of the company just not the product.
-- Contributed by: LenayHi Christina,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share with us here. Even though we are not affiliated with that product in any way, it's always great to know when one of our visitors finds something useful, so thanks again!
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI have recently purchased DEMURE cosmetic kit from Sams in White Bear, MN. At first I was hesitant as I don't wear make up because of my sensitive skin. I tend to break out and I hate the feeling of heavy goup on my face. The lady did a demonstration on my face and I LOVED it! (so did my hubby). I have to say that I am soo Pleased with this product, and I am glad that I bought this. Now my face feels so smooth and my complexion has improved. To be honest I tend to wear make up more often now. It feels like I don't have any make up on at all. I to have gotten alot of complements on how good I look. This stuff looks as good at the end of the day as it does at the beginning. I just want to thank you for having such a great product!
-- Contributed by: ChristinaHi Shelly,

-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajHi Cathy,
I am so sorry for your experience! I know, itâs just terrible when you spend a lot of money expecting something to help you look great and then it just doesn't work out (it happens to everybody!). Thanks for sharing your tale here- it will help others out there that are considering this product.
-- Contributed by: Jacqueline DautajI have purchased a DEMURE Cosmetic Kit from Sam's Club in St.Cloud Minnesota. I really love this AWSOME line of Cosmetics. One day I had put thi make up to the test. Ihad put on the Mineral make up went to work, and Everyone complemented on how PRETTY I looked tha day ALL DAY LONG!!!!!! Do you know how many woman at work had purchased some mineral make up? More than 4 of them. For myself I love it!! This awsome Demure Mineral Make up Makes my facial skin feel CLEAN as if I DON'T have any make up ON.. Thank you to all of you at the DEMURE Company for designing such AWSOME AND INCREDIBLE PRODUCTS.
-- Contributed by: ShellyI recently purchased a starter kit through a demure make-up vendor at the Southern Womenâs Show in Memphis and I hate the results. The make-up looked great on my forearm and then after I spent over $200 dollars, it turns my face completely reddish orange. I have tried it with the moisturizer cream and with out, same result. I have tried using different color foundation on my face, same result. I look like I put a bad self-tanner all over my face. My face is also breaking out over my chin area. I have never had a problem like this until I used this make-up. I am currently in the process of finding a new mineral make-up. I would not recommend this make-up to anyone.
