I came across an interesting site called TryOnContacts.com that lets you virtually try on a bunch of colored contact lenses using your own picture. Definitely a great way to zero in on a particular lens color before spending any money!

To answer this question, I want you to use the color wheel. Here's a chart of it:

Color Wheel

Notice that colors that fall on the opposite side of the wheel look best. So, if you currently have dark brown eyes, you will look fantastic in a deep blue, almost violet kind of color. Thanks so much for the question and good luck!

Hi Vicky,

First, decide why you feel the need to change your eye color. I'm sure a lot of teens would die for beautiful green eyes. Do you want to change them so that you can stand out more?

Second, will your parents allow you to change them?

And finally, changing the color of your eyes is really a personal decision. If you feel that you can deal with the time and expense, and you have your parentâ€™s approval, then go for it!
