I have huge pupils(people tell m I have cat eyes because they are so huge.) I hve medium-dark brown hair and deathly vampire like white skin! I can't seem to figure out what typr of eyeshadow color and or brand will help excentuate my eyes to the extreme. What should I do? Thanks,

Hi Wants to know,

Great question! First, I think that tinted mascara is a great way to go because it will really make your eyes stand out and look beautiful. And since all mascara's are different, follow the recommendation of the company. Thanks for the question and good luck!

Okey I think I have blue eyes but my boyfriend says I have green eyes. I was blue for ever and a few years ago I noticed that my eyes look more green or gray. I want to show him that my eyes are blue so I wanted to get a shadow that would bring out the blue in them. I tryed your tip for gray/smokey color and I did notice some change. I want to know. Do tinted mascares actually help make blue eyes pop? I was going to buy one that was right for blue eyes but I wanted to know if there was a certain color. Or if I still use the rules for eye shadow. Thanks

Hi Non-Pink Skin,

Thank you so much for feeling comfortable enough to voice your opinion here- we truly welcome that!

no way. so untrue. cool colors only work on skins that are pinkish or cool colored... not warm colored. for the tips to work it would require a girl to look like a hillbilly. duh!!!

Hi Sarah,

You sound like a winter. Try Color Me Beautiful. They break the different skin tones down into seasons. When you get to the site, click the "Shop by Seasons" button. That will lead you to an area with colors that are specific to your hair/eye and skin color. Thanks so much for the question, and if you need any more help, feel free to get back to us!

hi, my eyes are very light blue and sorta grey too. i have dark drown hair and very pale skin. What sort of makeup do u think would look good? Thanks

Hi Lisa,

It sounds as if you have beautiful eyes! What you need to do is opt for colors that blend nicely with all of your eye shades. This means choose black, gold (a nice shimmery gold that you can place in the inner corners of your eyes), silver (Bobbi Brown has a fantastic shade called Galaxy that would be great) and champagne colors.

To make your eyes look larger, sweep a light shade (like champagne all over the lid). When you apply eyeliner, make sure that you aren't applying it too close to your lashes (for folks with large eyes this makes them look "fierce", but if you have small eyes, it makes the eyes look even smaller). Also, tweezing your eyebrows and just keeping them neat will "open up" the entire eye area, so try that. Good luck and thanks for the question!

Hello....I have a very dynamic eye color, in other words, in different lights and clothing, my eyes can look blue, green or grey. Also, my eyes are rather small with hooded lids. I am fair skinned and a true light blonde. What colors of eyeshadow would be good for me, as well as techniques for applying to make my eyes look bigger?

Hi Ashton,

Sometimes the best thing to do is to keep it simple. By that, I mean try black eyeliner and blue eyeliner. Both will keep with your new hair color and eye color. Think about it like this. When you do your makeup or when you get dressed, you want to keep a "repeating pattern" look. So, if you use black and blue you'll be repeating a natural sequence for you. That will look great. Thanks for the question!
