Hi Leitia,

Thanks for sharing your tale- it helps others to hear of different consumers experiences.

I used to use bare minerals, but I found that it didn't cover my redness like the comercial claimed and it was hard for me to not get the poweder every where and once it was on the lid there was no way of getting it back in the jar. I use Dr. Dima's Cosminology now. It's really easy to use because it's it a pressed compact. I love it soo much that I bought it for my sister so that she can use it too. Now she loves it and says that people compliment her on her skin all the time. I'm glad that I could do that for her!

Hi Carol,

Thanks for sharing that they contain methylparaben; that's going to help consumers when they shop!

Not sure why they say they have only 5 ingredients. The mineral veil I have contains methylparaben.

Hi Caroline,

Thanks so much for posting your comment- it's going to help a lot of consumers out there check much more carefully!

Unfortunately, it is not entirely true that Bare Minerals is preservative-free. Some of the products, like the Mineral Veil and the mascara, contain parabens, which are preservatives. Consumers should read the ingredient lists on the products if they are concerned about the products being paraben-free.

Saw you commercial on tv yesterday, and called to order. Was extremely disappointed with the response. Seems that if I don't agree to deliveries very two months and just buy one order, I am penalized $10.00. Also, because we live way out in the desert, and the US mail does not deliver to the house, and you would not be ship my order to the PO Box. You don't use Fed Ex or UPS.. Seems to be very unfriendly customer service...
