Update: Cover Girl Lashblast Length Mascara
by Tanya on October 30, 2009
A few weeks ago I wrote about the newest addition to the Cover Girl Lashblast family of mascaras, called Lashblast Length. I’ve been using it for about three weeks now, faithfully and with my usual reckless abandon. I’ve been a longtime fan of Lashblast Luxe, a slightly shimmery take on the original formula. Lashblast Length, meanwhile, is made with Elasta-Nylon, which is meant to “flex” those lashes to lengths heretofore unseen, without flaking or budging an inch.
The verdict? It works – and it’s pretty darn true to its word. Like Lashblast Luxe, it gives my lashes the mileage I want – which translates to long, long lashes that somehow look real – without moving even once during the day. Since I’d been using Luxe’s rather chubby applicator for a while, it took a couple of days to grow accustomed to Length’s much slimmer, traditional style wand.
This is a great mascara for everyday use. Two quick coats is all it takes to achieve check-me-out lashes. It’s worth noting that this formula is also drier and less “wet” than the other two Lashblast mascaras. Cheap and effective, this is definitely worth a try!
