Finally after much indecision, I selected the Couleurs Nature line and picked out some Yves Rocher eye shadow in Dazzling Brown and Shimmering Gold so I would be able to do an Yves Rocher eye shadow review.

Yves Rocher Eye Shadow Review

I was a little hesitant to order this eye shadow because it is a liquid and I am a contact lens wearer. Expecting it to flake off in my eyes, I thought I would probably give it to my two teen-agers after I wrote my Yves Rocher eye shadow review.

The first time I wore it was to a get-together of several friends. I've never used a liquid eyeshadow before and didn't like the heavy feeling when it was first applied. After it dried however, it felt just as light as a powder. There was no problem with flaking but it was only on for a couple of hours. The color was very bold and I ended up toning it down a bit with a pearl colored eye shadow that I had in my collection.

Next I decided to try the Yves Rocher eye shadow for a full day. Once again, I toned the color down a bit. Because it is a liquid, it is difficult to apply it lightly. It's either on or it's not. There is no in between.

To my surprise, the color stayed true all day and never flaked. That evening it was easy to remove with the eye makeup remover that I had also purchased. The mascara that was purchased at the same time did not come off as well. Amazingly, I didn't end up with puffy eyes as so often happens when I wear eye makeup that isn't completely removed.

Overall, I liked the performance of the Yves Rocher eye shadow. Next time I will order a powder eye shadow because there is more control over color intensity, but I was impressed with the performance of the liquid eye makeup and would like to use this Yves Rocher eye shadow review to recommend that you give it a try.
