How to Choose Makeup Colors

Learning how to choose makeup colors means looking at certain factors, namely that of skin tone, hair color and eye color.

A person’s skin tone will help determine the color family that will suit them best, whether cool, warm, or neutral.

When it comes to eye color, choose colors on the opposite side of the color wheel. For example, brown eyes "pop" when rimmed with purple.

The only exception is blue eyes; they tend to look best in peach, and purple, rather than brown.
