Using Jimmy Coco Spray Tan

If you're one of many who had to order your own spray bottle of Jimmy Coco, don't despair. You can still get a beautiful, glowing faux tan—just like the one you would've gotten from the pros. First, exfoliate. Jimmy Coco has an exfoliating product available. You can also use baking soda mixed with your favorite non-moisturizing body wash.

After you've exfoliated, it's a good idea to put lotion on your rough spots—knees, elbows, ankles, knuckles, and wrists. That'll keep the tanner from grabbing on too much, which in turn will make your tan more even from head to toe. Spray your tan on over that and rub in quickly. Use kitchen gloves to avoid turning your palms orange or just make sure you wash well afterward.

  • Make sure you exfoliate well before you go.
