Say Goodbye to Your Day Time Look

While your daytime eye makeup routine may be minimal or even perhaps non-existent, nighttime is the perfect opportunity to try out some evening eye makeup looks. Drama is allowed on your lookers as the dark liners and shadows come out to play.

Many people make a party fumble before even walking through the door by neglecting to add that extra twilight touch to their eyes. If you are going to a party, consider being bolder than usual and trying something new.

A daytime look is just not enough if you want to reach your full party potential!

The Evening Eye Makeup Basics

As you should with any makeup regime, be sure that your face is cleaned, toned, and moisturized before applying evening eye makeup. This will ensure you have a smooth base to work with and will not compromise your color shades with the stubborn remnants of that morning's makeup application.

Always apply some sort of foundation or primer on your eyelids to help the evening eye makeup "cling" to your skin and to give it longevity.

It is best to start with the darkest color first in most circumstances, so if it is too drastic you can even it out with the lighter shades, rather than using all of your subtle colors first and then ruining it with a streak of dark blue shadow that you never meant to have go there.

Using an eye shadow color that doesn't clash terribly with your outfit, shade the upper eye lids. Then follow up with a liner and a coat of Mascara.

Adding Some Flair

Because drama and romance thrives during the night, don't shy away from being a little dramatic yourself. With specially done up eyes, you will look perfect for that romantic evening out on the town or for the party that everyone is going to be at.

Using an eye shadow kit with a highlighting color (or two!) is a great way to get a more dramatic look without spending a fortune. Sweep some of this highlighter in the space right between your brows and your lids. Next, use the medium toned color on your upper lid only. The darkest of the shades should go in your eye lid's crease and should be blended well.

Some ladies like to put a touch of the dark shade beneath their eyes as well, acting sort of as eyeliner.

Liquid eyeliners work best when it comes to evening eye makeup, so ditch your daytime pencil and try out all of the fantastic foolproof liquid liners currently available for purchase.

Eyes That Are Alluring

Whatever preference you have with your evening eye makeup, putting the extra effort in will make you more alluring than ever before. You can easily step up your flirt factor by making your eyes more beautiful. These tips are just waiting to help make you the belle of the ball.
