About Clairol

Clairol is a long-trusted in name in beauty care. Now a division of the successful Procter and Gamble Company, Clairol was founded by a husband and wife team in the 1930's, Joan Clair and Laurence Gelb. Subsequently, Clairol is probably best known for their range of hair coloring products, which include:

It includes a standard mirror with magnification on the reverse and all-purpose lighting for great vision during cosmetic application. This lighted mirror includes a great anti-fog feature that allows you to use it even in steamy bathrooms. It is free-standing, but is also mountable to wall or vanity.

Clairol Shining Star Mirror

The Clairol Shining Star Lighted Makeup Mirror offers two evenly balanced light settings, tilting and angle adjustment, and a trim, lightweight design for everyday use. Repairs and Replacements

If you are truly in love with your Clairol Lighted Makeup Mirror and it is need of repair, you may be able to contact a small-appliances service repair person to access the problem. Due to the accessibility and number of cosmetic mirrors today, however, it may be less costly to just purchase a new one.

Hi Lois,

That's a toughie. Your best bet is to search on amazon.com or Ebay. At least the good news is that you'll probably find a great price at both of these online stores. Thanks for your question and good luck!
