Any universal beauty and makeup tips you could share with our readers?

Delay wearing panty hose this fall by having naturally looking glowing legs without a visit to the tanning salon. This tip can also decrease the look of cellulite and uneven skin in the common problem areas like the back of the thighs. Mix a bronzing lotion with body lotion and some self tanner. This is also an easy, quick way to skip applying foundation on the face to give you a bronzed and even skin tone. I have used this technique on photo shoots with Brooke.

What is this season’s must have fashion accessory?

One of the things I have noticed that everyone wants in Hollywood and on the red carpet is a glamorous white smile. No matter what you are wearing or how your hair or makeup looks, no woman is complete without a great smile.

If we have just five minutes to get ready, tell us what we need to do to look our best

If you’re looking for a quick way to pull together your look, I would suggest the following tips.

  • Use a whitening nail pencil to rub underneath the nails to make up for a long time between manicures.
  • Jojoba oil and a few bobby pins are a quick fix to upgrade your look and create a cleaned-up do. Rub a small amount of oil in your hands and run your fingers through your hair and throw your hair up in a bun with the bobby pins. Instantly you can look totally put together.
  • Give your skin an occasional rest from the usual mix of foundation, powder and blush, and use a color stain – a liquid-based cosmetic designed to add a subtle blush of color to the face. Adding color to both the cheeks and lips with a natural color stain product offers a healthy way to upgrade your make-up routine. It’s also an easy way to brighten the face and the stain lasts all day. Products like this that can multi-task the way I do are great time savers.

Could you provide a few low calorie and tasteful healthy snack options?

Some great low calorie and tasteful healthy snacks that are full of antioxidants are oranges, pineapple, and kiwi. On top of being great for you, these fruits are less likely to stain your teeth.

When it comes to burning fat, what type of exercise is necessary and how often?

  • While standing in the kitchen after dinner, try grabbing a sponge with some soap and start making tiny little clockwise circles in the sink as you emulsify the bubbles under soft running water. Then begin to increase the pace a little and make the circles a little bigger! Switch hands, rinse and repeat. These moves can strengthen the biceps, triceps, and pectoral muscles if done repetitively.
  • Buying one pound weights is the best healthy upgrade you can make to your fitness routine. You can pop them in your bag and tote them around every where you go. After all, it's only 2lbs. Turn on some music and begin working the weights up and down as you walk in place. Be sure, however, to let your descending arm come back to its original position before releasing the other. Begin to twist your body side to side as you walk in place and "pump" the arms (right arm up as left knee rises, left arm up as right knee rises). Try to keep a fairly quick pace. If you have time to really move around, see if you can make it through a few songs. Most radio edit songs are only 2 to 3 minutes in duration – you can do it.

What is the fastest and healthiest road to weight loss?

Crash diets, don’t work. But eating healthfully on a regular basis does. And you have to exercise, too. So many women have spent hundreds of dollars every month to join the gym and then complain about how they can’t find the time to go.

Why spend money on a gym membership you won’t use when you can add fitness activities to your daily routine without changing your lifestyle or spending extra money? When you have a few free minutes around the house, put some music on and dance!

One of Brooke's favorite past times is dancing. She dances with her children all of the time. It's a great way to lose some body fat - keeping in mind that the longer you can keep going, the more calories you burn. See if you can make it through several songs before you stop to drink some water. Also try dancing with both of your arms up above your heart.

As we get older, everything seems to give in to gravity's southern draw (if you know what I mean ), so by keeping everything up, we are trying to reverse the cycle of aging! Remember, the Cardio portion of your healthy lifestyle is the one that strengthens your heart and maximizes your lung capacity.

What’s your favorite toothpaste recommendation?

I recommend Colgate Total® Advanced Whitening. It offers an effective way to whiten teeth and simultaneously maintain strong, healthy teeth and gums. Colgate Total Advanced Whitening combines the proven 12 hour germ-fighting formula of Colgate Total with an advanced whitening silica system that helps remove surface stains for healthier and whiter teeth. So from the moment you brush, even after you eat and drink, the 12 hour germ-fighting formula has you covered.

Is bleaching teeth still the best way to achieve a bright smile?

Bleaching your teeth will provide you with a very immediate result, but costs range anywhere from $300 and up and it will also affect your oral health. A healthier, more convenient and less expensive way of whitening your teeth is to use Colgate Total® Advanced Whitening. Colgate Total not only offers oral health benefits, but an advanced whitening system for healthier and whiter teeth

Do you have any beauty or makeup tips for enhancing the smile?

I suggest a few different tips to follow regularly for a healthy, bright smile.

  • A simple and well-known trick to help reduce the risk of staining is to drink through a straw, especially when drinking coffee and dark cola beverages. The straw forces the beverage to the back of your throat and therefore helps to avoid bathing your teeth in dark liquids.
  • Finally, you should brush at least twice a day for two minutes at a time with Colgate Total® Advanced Whitening. With Colgate Total’s advanced whitening silica system, it is a healthier way of whitening your teeth.
